We are Middlesbrough

We Are Middlesbrough - live from Cleveland Centre!

BBC News is focusing on Middlesbrough this week - with shows coming live from Cleveland Centre every day ahead of Radio One's Big Weekend.

Local people are encouraged to come down to the Cleveland Centre to share their interesting stories and meet the BBC presenters.

BBC Breakfast, the BBC News Channel and BBC 5Live will all be reporting from Middlesbrough as part of We Are Middlesbrough, which runs from 20-24 May.

We Are Middlesbrough aims to shine a spotlight on Middlesbrough, telling the stories that matter to the people of the Teesside town. The stories will air across the BBC’s national and regional news outlets, online platforms and social media.

Local people are encouraged to come down to the Cleveland Centre to share their interesting stories, to meet the BBC teams and to be involved in the editorial process.

The exhibition will give people the chance to get hands on with future technology in the BBC Blue Room and to present the weather forecast.
